Nick Cobb started in the pest control industry at 15. Throughout the summer seasons, he has learned a lot about bugs and how to help people control bug problems. After several seasons of working out of a truck with his father, Nick got a license and a van and started applying pesticides and working jobs for his father’s business.

A lot has changed over the last 20 years, and Nick started his own business, NIX Pest Solutions. The business grew rapidly and became a household name in Northern Michigan for Pest Control.

How We Work

Most of the time when someone calls us to come take care of their pest problem, the last thing they are thinking of is the outside furniture, garden, outdoors toys etc. At NIX Pest Solutions, we actually care about your property and that we do a good, effective job for everyone who calls us. While other pest control companies might be capable of eliminating your insect pests, we go one step further and protect your outdoor items during our sprays. For all the smaller items that could possible be affected by pesticides, items that are meant to be handled by humans and potted plants etc., we will move these things away from your home or business before we spray. That way, we can apply our spray effectively and not worry about if the spray will damage an item or be at risk of getting on your hands the next time you pick up a yard tool you had leaning against the back side of your building. For furniture and other items too big to be easily moved out of the way, we carry tarps just for this reason. We can tarp off items that we dont want to get pesticide spray on, perform the spray and then remove the tarp. We do genuinely care about every customer and their belongings like they are our own.
