Belonging to the phylum Arthropada, containing articulated limbs and body, they often invade homes through the foundation. Tightly caulking around the foundation and foundation sills will help to prevent entry. Keep all plants and shrubs far enough away from the home to allow air circulation. Keep all manure or piles of organic matter away from the foundation of your home.
